History of 501 Tavern

Going by several different names over the years, 501 Tavern has gone through many changes and owners, but continues the same legacy of bringing the community together.

The original tavern opened as Sam's Tavern, opened by Samuel L. Ricci in 1939. Over the years, the tavern changed names to Sam's Brass Track, Old Log Cabin, Cabin Fever, Northpoint Bar and Grill, and most recently, Seasons Tavern, which was the name previous to 501 Tavern.

Owned by the same family for years, the tavern was passed down between generations and changed ownership until it eventually shut down during covid in 2020, when it was bought, and renovations started to get things back in order.

The tavern reopened as 501 Tavern in the fall 2023, marking the first time it was open in over 3 years!

We are grateful to be a part of the history of this tavern and to take root here in the Hudson, Wisconsin community!
